He is paid to advance the SEC, not mid major conferences or the NCAA as a whole. You can make an argument that it's short sighted because fans would lose interest if it was more like the NBA, I'd probably agree with that, but bashing the guy because he is doing his job and so far he's been pretty successful at it, is just petty jealousy. Maybe the ACC would be in better shape if we had someone who cared more about the ACC.
