I'm most disappointed in McCann. I was hoping he would make a jump...

in his development, especially after a productive summer. He hit for a low average in ACC play last year (.206 avg) but at least had 4 hr and a respectable .761 ops which isn't bad for a freshman. In 40 at-bats in ACC play this year, he is now hitting just .150 with zero extra base hits. Maybe he has been dealing with injuries more than the coaching staff has let on, but either way, he still seems a bit overmatched with ACC pitching over halfway through his sophomore season. And in terms of defense, his arm is still really bad as he is 0 for 12 on catching base-stealers this year and 0 for 15 now in his college career and was 0 for 35 in that department this past summer which puts him at 0 for 50 at catching base-stealers in the last 14 months.
