Additional point on the lineup - 4 of our 1st 5 hitters in our opening

day lineup are not regulars at this point...crazy! Hughes and Michel are injured, and I guess the staff just completely misjudged the ability of Lewis to adapt, and for McCann to hit. Lewis was our 3-hitter....he is not playable in the field due to defense, and he is hitting .148 with zero xbh in ACC play in 30ABs, .381 OPS. McCann was cleanup opening day - is hitting .150 with zero xbh in ACC play over 40 ABs, .483 OPS...so both are proving that they are currently overmatched against ACC quality pitching at this point, and these are the guys the staff decided were 2 of our very best hitters coming in. The staff is still not playing Cherry regularly - he is 3rd on the team in OPS in ACC play, .976....Maybe these guys can make some adjustments.
