Reason I asked, is I went to the home UVA series last yr. Szefc bunted his
clean up hitter early in the game to move a runner in game that I think was scoreless/very low scoring at the time. Yes, just to move runner. I actually audibly yelled, “What are you doing.” Some Hokie fans were yelling at, that it was a good baseball play. I obviously disagreed. Let your clean up hitter hit the d$!n ball. So hence the question. When a suicide squeeze or bunt is actually called for, did he call for it? Yes, we hosted in ‘22, but the goodwill from that year is wearing thin…on me, anyway 🤷🏻♂️.
