She played at the high school I teach at and I coached her in basketball too. It looks like she had a complete game, 3-hit performance last night.

Several of y'all will probably remember my posts from over the years. Well, very proud dad moment over the weekend. He has gotten interested in wrestling over the past year and yesterday was his first school wrestling tournament. Keep in mind this is a kid that his mom and I weren’t sure if he would ever walk and didn’t do so until he was 5. He’s undergone over 250 blood and platelet transfusions and around 15 surgical procedures. I’ve included the video. Be forewarned I think there was some pollen in the gym that came through on the video. @Will Stewart

They require students to check out when they leave games (essentially rescan their ticket). Leaving early from games adversely effects their chances of getting tickets to future games in the lottery.

I don’t think that will work out very well as a projection since conference teams can’t play each other in a bowl.

My wife and I toyed with the idea of sending Trae (our oldest) to VT wrestling camp this summer when we’re in town. Ultimately, we decided to send him to a limb different wrestling camp this summer before we send him to a college camp like Tech or App State. BTW, Coach Frayer was incredibly helpful in communicating with us while we were gathering information about the camp and even whether it would be a good fit for Trae. Hopefully, he’ll be ready to go next summer.

Any time. If the catcher is flexed, the DP and catcher can switch. I played against another coach who always flexed his catcher (who was smaller) so he could swap her in as a runner once the DP got on and not burn a pinch runner.

See one pitcher as the flex and the other as the DP. This basically allows the coach to swap them back and forth an unlimited number of times because neither is leaving the lineup.

Rice brings the ball down the slot with Pedulla sprinting to the ball side corner. Cattoor in the opposite corner, Nickel in the opposite slot, and Beran on the opposite block. Beran flashes to the ball side mid post before turning to screen for Cattoor racing baseline to ball side. Simultaneously, Pedulla lifts for a possible dribble handoff from Rice. Rice has the option of handing off to Pedulla or faking the handoff. Either way Pedulla or Rice attacks the lane from the slot with the other rotating to fill the top of the key after the driver clears. Beran has slid to the short corner/dunkers spot opposite after his screen. Nickel fills the corner on the drive. The driver, either Pedulla or Rice, now has the option to attack for a layup or, if that’s taken away, read where the help defense comes from for either a ball side corner three from Cattoor, a rotation three from the top from the other guard (Pedulla or Rice), an opposite corner three from a filling Nickel, or a dump down to Beran for a dunk. In theory, the defense is going to struggle to cover the shooters and the driver.
