Teams are seeded for the draw, with hosts being put in the top group
There are four groups referred to as "pots", pot 1 being the 3 hosts and the teams ranked 1-9, pot 2 with the next 12 ranked teams, and so on. The host nations don't end up with any of the best teams in their group. We got a lucky draw with Australia being the lowest ranked pot 2 team. Paraguay was the pot 3 team. Turkiye qualified through a playoff that happened after the draw and was the pot 4 team due to that, but they are ranked above Australia and Paraguay, so we're a bit unlucky that our pot 4 team is really pretty good. It being an easy or difficult group depends on interpretation. There is no top dog dominant team, but there is also no weak team.
Paraguay usually has a very good defense. We just played an amazing game.

EVAR for abdominal aorta? It's the best way to repair it.
I'm a nurse in a surgical unit, I've seen plenty of vascular surgeries. EVAR is less invasive than open abdominal surgery which means much less risk for bleeding or infection. There's always a risk for blood clots post op so be sure to take blood thinners exactly as directed by the surgeon. It can be fairly painful too. Usually a stinging or burning sensation at the catheter insertion site and up into the abdomen. You'll probably feel bloated and firm in the abdomen too. The nurses will do frequent checks on the area and review all the warning signs you should watch out for. My biggest advice is to take any laxatives the nurses offer you, even if you feel like you don't need them. You really do not want to have to push at all.

Probably the best American in MLS right now. Talented, creative, has grit.
Definitely a lot of potential. And he's finally getting some chances with the national team, at a time when they desperately need more players with an attitude like him. I'd like to see him get a move to a higher level league in Europe. He's going to outgrow MLS soon.

Unfortunately suicide is too common among veterans
In addition to CTE, psych conditions like severe depression, anxiety, and PTSD are pretty common. Many people suffering from these get really good at hiding it, even from their close family and friends, and appear to be living a normal happy life. Internalizing the problems or not being able to get effective treatment can have drastic results, often with little warning signs.

But the Pentagon would be aware and thus not concerned.
Maybe a test or drill that requires a live audience and real reaction by the public and other agencies, or evaluating our own capability to respond.

Most hospitals are non-profits, so no taxes anyway. They do bill higher
than actual cost because they know insurance won't pay the billed amount. A lot of hospitals have pre existing agreements with insurance companies that define payments for surgeries, length of stay, medications, etc. So the hospital knows exactly how much it's going to get paid in advance regardless of billed amount.

We categorize everything, which creates problems for things on a spectrum
Most people are definitively male or female, but with these genetic conditions that doesn't always fit. As one example - androgen insensitivity. A person with XY chromosomes, but their cells don't respond to male hormones. Depending on the degree of insensitivity they can develop as male with minor feminine features, female with no masculine features, and the entire spectrum in between, but all with typical male testosterone levels. That spectrum doesn't fit into strict male/female definitions and where the line is drawn clearly gets subjective and pretty messy.

Legally and physically female since birth. There are several conditions that can cause that. Doesn't seem to be any explanation of which of those she might have.

Dang. Good work by them. CPR is exhausting, 3-4 minutes a person is no joke
Even full grown and well trained adults will start tiring after about 2 minutes, especially if the patient is a larger person. Ideally it's done in 2 minute cycles, then a quick pause for heart rhythm check and shock if necessary, and a different person takes over compressions after the shock. These were mostly teenagers, so even more impressive. AEDs are really simple and will give verbal instructions once they're on, but still takes some knowledge to set up right. All CPR classes should include practicing with AEDs. Of course when that adrenaline starts rushing it can be hard to think clearly, which is why practice is so important.

The problem with time travel is that the earth is moving and would not be
in the same location at a different time. The time travelers would just appear in the middle of outer space and die instantly.
Unless this is more like rewinding time rather than jumping to a different time. Maybe that would work, I can't say for sure, I'm no Doc Brown.

Resuscitation can have multiple meanings in the hospital
Emergency department patients are rated 1-5 based on their acuity (severity of condition) and how many resources are required to diagnose and treat them. Level 1 is sometimes referred to as "resuscitation" meaning the patient required immediate life saving treatment, but it doesn't necessarily mean CPR. Requiring intubation and a ventilator to keep him breathing would designate him as a resuscitation patient. This could easily be a mix up of hospital terminology and lay terminology.

Reminds me of Christian Eriksen having a cardiac arrest on the field
During a soccer game in Europe last year. Officials decided to resume the game after he was taken to a hospital. The players and the fans didn't care about the game. Everyone was traumatized. The decision was heavily criticized by the entire sports community. It was a terrible choice. There is no way this game should be continued. Life is more important than a game.

Standing up then going back down makes me think cardiac or respiratory
Chest trauma can cause irregular heartbeats or damage to the lungs and airways. Or pinched nerves in the neck that impact signals to those systems. Or underlying conditions that we don't know about.

Agree with that. A visit to the ER is a good idea.
Anxiety, disrupted sleep, and hallucinations can also be caused by low oxygen levels.
The generalized bad feeling, fever, nausea, "flu like" symptoms are side effects of the body's own immune response. Specific symptoms of the infection won't show up until later.
Definitely a good idea to see a doctor.

1998 - won 2 games, lost to eventual champion France in the semi final, won the 3rd place match
2018 - 2 shootout wins, an overtime win, lost to France in the championship game
2022 - 2 shootout wins so far

Yep. They're out on goal differential. Germany has been an enigma recently.
World class talent all over the field, but very inconsistent in getting results. It's been like that going back to the 2018 world cup. Bad coaching maybe? They seem to dominate a lot of games but still find a way to underperform.
