I am going to say 8-4, I think the new talent and coaching can win 8 games
with this schedule. I don't think GT and Clemson will be as tough this year.

What happened at PSU in 2025
Interesting article that leaves me with a lot of questions. I know we are in better shape with CJF but it looks like at least some of the players and coaches didn't like the way he ran things. I understand that happens everywhere and many of the players and coaches came with him so obviously they don't have a problem. Just something to consider.

To me it all depends on how the current players felt about Pry
He loves the University, has passion, was a good DC but does he have the locker room?

Now that we have a coach, do we give Pop a chance to play to see if
Franklin wants to keep him? Drones is out of eligibility.

My hope is that he wants to stick it to PSU and going to VT is the best way
to do that. we recruit the same footprint, the ACC is easier to win, VT has shown in the past we can make it to the big games, BCS.... ect. I think he is going to be driven. he is a different personality than we are used to, but good personality guys like Pry didn't win. I think he will get us in the playoffs quickly, may not win once he gets there, but they may be enough for us.

It looks like there are some good portal players out there that we could target. Penn State lost Jon Mitchell, CB and LB Ta'Mere Robinson to the portal. UNC lost a OL player. do we have enough money to go after any of these guys. would there be interest?

It is driving me crazy, my only thought is Daryl Tapp as he is the only one
coaching I think we can be looking at. Otherwise, I think we have struck out and it goes internal. Pry doesn't seem to be instilling a lot of confidence in the fan base with this one and taking so long to announce internal hire for Strength and Conditioning.

Miss VT being relevant
Iâm watching a rerun of the 2009 Miami game and I miss the days when we were good and could dominate a game. Our key has always been mobile QB, good run game and solid D that is aggressive. Come on Pry, follow the recipe!

Defensive collapses and end of game coaching decisions killed us this year. they both have to improve. I want Pry to be the guy I believe he is a VT guy and good representative of the school.

I prefer that we play Pop to get him ready for next season in hopes of
keeping him. we need to start developing QB's instead of getting a new one through the portal as well otherwise we won't be able to get QB's out of HS. I think he is capable as Schlee or Drones.
