Let’s say a couple of years from now VT wins a Natty, but not 1 starter is

An original VT signee. It’s just not my old school college football anymore. I accept that, but it just doesn’t feel right. I’d be surprised if jersey sales even sell anymore. Name might just on the back one year. I’ll watch and root, but i’m not invested anymore. Sorry, hope VT gets a lot of wins from Franklin, but I can’t bring myself to go deep in caring for players that transfer here from another school. Especially for a year or 2 tops. If VT wasn’t your go to school to begin with I don’t have much in common with you. VT was my only love coming out of HS. Feels mercenary. Just my rant.

So if Juco won’t matter anymore, look for 26-27 yr olds being th3 normal.

Think about it, go juco for 2 years, get experience, build your body, build your talent/skills. Get a red shirt yr, NIL for 4-5 years. You don’t even have to get to the NFL to make a decent living before your mid 20s.

Playoff easy fix. Conference champs must be in top 16 rankings to get into

Playoff. Otherwise committee gets to pick. Plus have g5 playoff and any G5 team ranked in top 16 must tell committee before their picks if they give up their place in the G5 playoffs to play in the p4 playoffs.

Win big games with lesser talent. His coaching is suspect to me. I think he can give you average seasons. But I’ll eat crow happily if he makes and wins a conference game. I’d use the money on players and staff.
