Umps are clearly for L$U

If she was hit, it was only because she was out of the batters box

I will never forget the VT-F$U series in Lemley’s freshmen season.

We dominated the first 2 games and were threatening to sweep in the third when with Lemley on the mound, the umps proceed to call an illegal pitch every other pitch she threw. The umps only called it because F$U’s coach was throwing a hissy fit at them. All of that was to get in Lemley’s head so that F$U could salvage a game in the series.

The announcers are definitely not math majors.

Before the commercial break one said that the Hokies average nearly 5 hits a game. At 519 hits for the season that would mean we have played 104 games.

The UMP gets the credit for Foster’s strikeout

The SU C framed the first 2 β€œstrikes” at least 6 inches and influenced the call

My comment is towards the prediction that UGA hosts and VT travels to UGA

We already beat UGA twice in Athens and neither game was close, but still we travel to a SEC stadium. Also bothe predictions only have 2 ACC teams hosting.

It was the 2024 season.

She was on a tear with somewhere around 5 homers (3 grand slams)

More like paid hitmen

By that I mean mercs. ** Edited by bushartbs525 at 4/20/2026, 1:24:50 PM

Why didn’t Pete pinch run for Zoey?

Blackwell or Pallante would have beet the tag at the plate

Because their pitching is 10th

They still have to play F$U and VT. So, I suspect they won’t stay tops in BA, HR, and slugging.

That is my point about her batting second

The players above her have significantly more RBIs , but they probably bat 3rd-6th on their respective teams which typically are the higher RBI positions in a lineup.

I understand why E$PN is such a shill for $EC

The $EC is their largest investment for college sports. They have to protect their investment.

Stats must have fixed it.

When I first saw it, it didn’t say unearned.

How is Kylie’s run earned?

She got on base because of the left fielder’s error.

Airport craziness is settling down in the major cities since TSA is being

supplemented with ICE. I have seen recent video of the lines at Hartsfiield-Jackson in ATL and Chicago’s Ohare. The security lines are back to normal and the Precheck service is back

While the PH for Rohs worked in the second inning,

what message does that send to Rohs? To PH for her so early in the game takes every other decision for her out of your hands. Rohs is our best defensive SS and we needed her in the game for her defense. If the PH came with the bases loaded assume a hit occurs and we still score 2 runs and the top of the order comes up with 2 runners on and only 1 out. As for my comment about advancing runners. Every time we hit into a DP second base was open and the pitcher was refusing to through anything up in the strike zone. Basically ensuring that we would hit a ground ball. We never tried to steal second base. On time Duke was playing a severe shift such that we hit into a 5-in, 5-3 double play. CPD rarely will send runners, especially in games that we need to win with β€œsmall” ball philosophy because of how the other team is pitching us ** Edited by bushartbs525 at 3/15/2026, 2:22:18 PM

How many DP did we hit into this series and how many has Duke hit into?

Duke constantly is advancing runners, whether it be by tagging up or stealing a base or taking an extra base on a throw from the outfield. We were facing a ground ball pitcher and we never tried to steal second to get out of the DP. Paterson were screaming for a PH when Rogs came up with the bases loaded and one out. Problem is that she was already substituted for earlier in the game. She is hitting the ball much better this year so why PH for her on her first chance to hit? Also the force at home was the call that should have been challenged not whatever call it was in the first inning.

Coaching has a lot to do with it.

It was said on the broadcast that Duke has won 7 of the last 8 against the Hokies. With yesterday’s loss that makes 8 out of 9. That is not just luck, that is better coaching.
