Here are some thoughts on the “floor” of this team…

Not hard IMO to see this team as quite a bit better than our team of 2 seasons ago. Not a high bar but a good comparison for the doom and gloomers… Hammond way better than himself as a Fr and way better than Soph Rech. Jr Tyler way better than Fr Tyler Not hard to envision the sum of our other wings being at least as good as Young and Schutt that year. Hansberry better than Jr Lawal. Not hard to imagine our 5s being better than Poteat. So we got that going for us…

Don’t forget Jones…

I think he will be a quality guy in the rotation. He got some quality minutes when Lawal and Johnson were out but then got shut down for the year with an injury. He seems capable to fill in at both the 3 and 4 and could even be a spot starter if he shows a year 1 to 2 improvement that Hammond and Johnson showed.

For sure but soon after Zach announced Bedford coming into the game for Neo and there was a big cheer. Wasn’t sure they were booing Neo but it seemed clear they were cheering him being taken out of the game.

He has excellent form on his FTs which could translate to 3pt line with

some work. Mostly so defenders can’t stuff off of him which can create assist opportunities.
