Folks, see my post below

I may repost it tomorrow. Because my thoughts are genuine. And from the heart.

He manages huge amounts of trust funds as trustee on a nationwide basis

The rich trust him to do the right thing by their beneficiaries. I am sure he did the same for Tech.

Removal of John Rocovich as Rector of the VT Board of Visitors

I know him very well. Most honest guy I have ever met, by a long shot. Brilliant legal mind. Brilliant financial mind. Great person. I’m not gonna get political. But I’d trust him with my children and grandchildren. Huge loss for you guys for which I am sorry. ** Edited by Spudnut at 5/28/2026, 6:10:04 PM ** Edited by Spudnut at 5/28/2026, 6:11:09 PM ** Edited by Spudnut at 5/28/2026, 6:17:12 PM

Alabama is good. Different, but good

You just have to realize that it isn’t what you’re used to.

Roanoke was Big Lick. Bedford was Liberty

I have an 1868 Canal and Railroad map that has them listed that way

Holy moly. Check the nuts and bolts on your pull down attic

Access ladder. I routinely check mine. But did not check the bolt that holds the arm that holds the spring. Was coming down after changing the upstairs air handler filter when the whole thing collapsed. One bolt and nut. Whew.

That is weird. Usually the

freezer makes ice. Check the temp setting in the fridge. :)

The flip side of that is my elementary school in Big Lick

They made homemade yeast rolls. I would raise my hand at least once a week around 11:30 am and ask to go to the bathroom. Once granted, I’d make a beeline for the cafeteria. The cooks would give me a hot roll with butter dripping out. Yum.

@EDGEMAN when I clicked on your link below

I got an ad for an electric torch lighter. Decided to take a shot for $40. Thoughts?? I will give the Lounge a review upon receipt. It does have the potential to be too good to be true. And don’t tell my siblings. They will be worried that I am becoming just like my dad. Buying junk $hit in the twilight years. ** Edited by Spudnut at 5/7/2026, 7:16:56 PM

LOL. His stud fee is huge after the win

Not gonna have him get whooped and see the fee level drop. And raises the conspiracy thought, opinion, speculation, unsubstantiated thought that perhaps, and this is speculation, that perhaps, allegedly, some performance enhancing drugs???

That, I can’t help.

Most folks do their email but spell out numbers and add spaces so bots can’t pick up the email address.

Final tree cut for next year’s firewood. Two trunk dead wild cherry

Fairly technical cut. Two wild dogwoods on the edge of the yard could have been wiped out if it went the wrong way. Will split tomorrow.

Dad had one the first year they were offered

Had them reverse the back seat so it faced backwards so he could put a dog barricade between the front and back seats to keep his quail hunting dogs in the back. Serious pro move. Had two gas tanks. Thing was a tank. I had it as my college vehicle for a year. Did some serious mud bogging. He decided to sell it so I drove it home after scrubbing the interior from all the beer spilled inside. Got a call a week later from dad. He was not happy. When the first potential buyer came for a look, he popped the hood and there was a block of mud with just the air intake sticking out of the block of mud. I replied that should have been a great selling point. He didn’t agree.

5 of those

And many others. Even built the Cutty Sark except for the string rigging.

Yes, divorce

Costs money. But worth every penny. I’ve never seen a tombstone that read, β€œI wish I had not gotten divorced.” 6 years later, I out kicked my coverage.
