having been going to the spring game for years at 72 I have seen all kinds of weather there in April. Anything can happen I learned. I even had to leave one time with a fellow Hokie as soon as we got seated because a thunderstorm hit. First time that ever happened. But I’ve been there when it was snowing. I’ve been there when it’s raining. I’ve been there when it’s been freezing cold and I’ve been there when it was absolutely gorgeous. Obviously the weather will play a part somewhat in the attendance it always does. It’s not my first rodeo. I believe Franklin thinks it’s more important to fill the stadium up for the recruits that will be there to show them how much the fan base loves Virginia Virginia Tech football and I’m pretty sure he’s gonna have a boatload of recruites there. I expect nothing less with his level of recruiting energy and planning! If it makes it on ESPN that’s certainly not a bad thing and a plus. But I could care less whether ESPN is there or not. Not a fan of ESPN and never will be again with the stuff that’s going on there. Unfortunately, sometimes it’s the only way I can watch Virginia Tech supporting events and it’s already part of my Verizon cell phone package or I would not pay for it. I know my wife and I will be there if it’s not bone chilling, cold, and raining. Our health issues just can’t handle that kind of thing like we used to. But I wouldn’t bet against Franklin continuing to push and promote this game because that’s just what kind of coach he is. He knows the score here and he’s trying to build something again and this ain’t his first rodeo and this Hokie feels pretty confident he’s going to do just that with the foundation he’s already built at Virginia Tech, especially in the area of recruiting and in the portal. My wife and I will be the if our health holds up but wonder if the fans will show up in record numbers to make the spring game a record setting day and help send a message to recruits that will be there and for the college football world to see? challenge especially when you are married to a 68 year old junk food junkie who I swear has stock in Little Debbie’s ha ha. But in the end I’m responsible for what I put in my mouth. My one and only child just had her 31st birthday and complains about how old she is and feels 😂 but I would love to go back to that age and change some things and life decisions I made but that’s on me. Still enjoy working at the hospital in the new cardiovascular unit and helping patients and seeing my wife enjoy retirement. Other than that I’m excited about what Franklin is going to be able to do with the football program now that VT has at least for now gotten some what serious about big boy football. I still have to wonder no matter wether you loved him, liked him, or hated him what Justin Fuente could have done with the program if given what was promised and what he needed like Pry and now Franklin has been given to have a chance to be successful? His shot across the bow to me was always the beginning to waking some people up at VT including WB. We will see but I am excited about the upcoming year in VT football more than I have been in a long time. Go Hokies! By the way. Congrats on your daughter’s play in softball and getting to be able to enjoy that. Great stuff for a father. I’m happy for you guys. opponents. That’s really all that matters. Could care less to hear him in questions and answers by local media. All hes thinking about is on a much higher level, making Virginia Tech a national conversation, which will indeed help with awareness and recruiting of Virginia Tech across the country.

at the matches. I would hope that would be the case. If not it needs to be brought to someone in control that oversees crowd safety and the event. No way that kind of thing shouldn’t happen unchecked. I know Coach Robbie wants fans at the matches , but with that kind of stuff going on unchecked people are not going to show up especially with kids. And kids have a right to be at wrestling matches just like anyone else since they start at a very young age and the exposure to wrestling is good to promote wrestling and their interest in the sport.

We never know when our quality of life will fade and our end will come. So enjoy everyday like it’s your last and root and pull for the Hokies while you still can. Like I said I’m pulling for the ACC against the BG10 because I think Miami if they play like they did against Ohio State can win this game and it will be a similar close score and for sure no blowout kind of a similar game and score of the IU vs OSU BG10 championship game score and result. But that’s just my opinion based on watching both teams play and Miami peaking at the right time. The other result I believe will be Miami doesn’t play or show up tonight and IU blows them out like they have in their previous wins. But all joking and opinions aside it’s just a game and not life and death and I certainly respect yours and others opinions as we all have the right to express them wether we agree with each other or not. Some feel the need for personal attacks when you disagree with them and there is no room or need for that on TSL and I use the good old mute feature when that happens as that is not something Will Stewart tolerates on these forums. not a Miami fan but I am an ACC fan until things change and we end up in another neighborhood. I’ll pull for the ACC to bring another NC to our conference. Does the ACC conference have its problems.
