Are all the injuries a blessing in disguise?
Learning to play with multiple lineups with differing styles makes us a much tougher opponent. Team buy-in is through the roof with playing time spread around. The synergy is palpable.

Any plans to play Neo at the 4
Weβve heard that a passing 4 is important for optimal performance for a MY offense. Is there a player rotation with Neo taking on that role.

Wonder what a study of injuries/concussions from both footballs would find
I had four daughter play soccer. Two had severe concussions, and one split another girls forehead open when it happened. From talking with trainers I recall injury rates (not just concussions) in soccer being really high maybe second overall. I think gymnastics had a high rate of injuries as well. One of my girls did that too. Oh yeah, she got a concussion and broken nose doing gymnastics, a forward flip with face plant on your knee will do it.

Its a bit of an apple to oranges comparison
4-5 years for a college career is 100% stable.
4-5 years for pro may be or not. I would venture to say most play for more than 1 team.
Turn over for both seems to be accelerating with increase in $.

Made me laugh
TA&M point guard has ball on hip near half-court letting clock run late in the game. Announcer describing his every move. Picks up one foot, wipes off the bottom, picks up the other foot, wipes off the bottom, adjusts his sweat band, starts his dribbleβ¦
Never occurred to anyone, announcers, referees or coaches - thatβs against the rules.

Great kid and family.
I was blessed to coach Cole his freshman year and Cross Country his Sophomore year.

Gurdak is an Impressive prospect
In the linked interview he seemed very mature. Also he talks about working out and dropping weight.

Several other players had braces on both ankles as well
I'm guessing this may be a new protocol for the team, similar to knee braces for offensive linemen.
I was hoping to see her play as well. I was looking to see if she showed signs of an injury, but did not see anything.
If she already played then she's not a redshirt candidate. We definitely need her size. Hoping that she maintains a good attitude and continues to develop.

Rebecca Lobo observed
Lizβs decision making this year is outstanding. She sees the defense and attacks the weakness. So much better than years past when she got caught in double teams.

No, not what I said.
It a simple observation that if Amoore isnβt available then as a necessity more time and resources will be focused on other players and perhaps different actions that these players are able to execute. The end result being adding this to what we do well with Amoore.
The other players have an additional challenge and opportunity to develop. The question is are they able?

Silver lining?
Could the Duke debacle be a blessing in disguise? Forcing CKB to develop new group strategies and chemistry. Perhaps this is the opportunity to develop into a more complete team. π€

The Safety sounds interesting
Among the portals: standout safety Phillip Dunnam, according to PFF allowed 19 catches on 40 catches for 325 yards and three touchdowns.

I think I saw Coach Young ask him if he was ok
I was thinking the same thing, then I saw that. Now I think heβs sick tonight.

There were a couple of ghost fouls too
One on Cattoor that was switched to Rechstiner, who blocked from the view of the ref making the call. Donβt think either touched the guy.
Then the guy from Auburn got a technical, looked like he didnβt touch our shooter.
