As is true for me.

I can walk without concern over relatively flat, but I struggle when hiking and use a substantial brace. I cannot run or jump. I made the mistake of hopping carefully down from a three feet tall retaining wall once last year. On landing, my lower leg decided to flee the main trunk of my body. That was no fun.

If you can get back to Colorado Street. Hang a right. Go over the tracks

Just on the other side, turn right into what looks like the tire dealer’s place. Then turn left into the overflow parking area. Walk about 30 yards (over a small pedestrian bridge) to the side gate.

I watched Michigan this morning

Impressive team. Lots of power. Their 9,1,2 hitters are annoying at the plate and on base (in a good way). Speedy. Bryant was helpless, largely, against them.

Not bad.

Weathered a couple of silly mistakes and nervous stuff, but not bad.

This is because I ran an errand just before the game.

I got trapped in the check out line at a Dollar Tree because the people in front of me were deciding which mylar balloons to get. Then they were all inflated for them. Then they struggled to find the cash needed to pay. Took me 10 minutes to check out. Then I raced home just in time to see us start to stymie their offense.

I had to go to the bathroom with about 5 minutes to go...

...and didn't get finished until 9pm when I was sure the game had to be over.

This little light of mine...Caplyta...

over and over and over... I can't mute the button (spurtle) quickly enough.

Thanks Chip.

I was digging around on the Salem sites (Moyer and Civic Center) and haven’t found anything yet.

Hokie Invite March 5-8 at Moyer Sports Complex in Salem

Other than the basic schedule, does anyone have any information about tickets or is admission free? I haven’t seen any info on the interwebs.

That really rankled me…

My five young grandchildren were β€œstaying up” to watch The Super Bowl. They probably lasted until 7-7:30. That Scream7 ad would have terrified them. So I alerted my son about it and he was able to skip the ad since they were watching on delay.

It’s interesting what people focused on.

I enjoyed the heck out of the show, and I didn’t understand many words. But joy, love, and happiness transcend language. I loved the little details in the show: the wedding celebration, the little boy in the barber shop, the proposal, the lady in the shop giving BB a treat from her shop, the parade of flags, and more. It was a unique and festive show that introduced Americans to their often misunderstood fellow Americans. We need more understanding these days. So, this 66 year-old man was entertained.
