As is true for me.
I can walk without concern over relatively flat, but I struggle when hiking and use a substantial brace. I cannot run or jump.
I made the mistake of hopping carefully down from a three feet tall retaining wall once last year. On landing, my lower leg decided to flee the main trunk of my body. That was no fun.
