If you're referring to the Hokie Club
yes, you can make sport-specific donations, but I thought that only supports day-to-day operations and not NIL. That would help with coaches salaries, travel, etc. but not helping pay for player talent and building a better roster.

I believe Duffy said "she's going to be versatile for us". I get the sense she doesn't think about positions in terms of the traditional 1-5 like many of us do.

Interesting name just entered the portal
w/ "Do not contact" tag. Kenzie Hare played for CMD at Marquette her Freshman and Soph years. Averaged 14 pts/game and shot 42.5% from 3pt her Soph year. She redshirted at Iowa State last year and has been fighting thru some injuries the past 2 years. Hmmm...

P4 freshman guards won't see minutes unless they're top 5 recruits like Hidalgo, Jazzy Davidson, etc. Too much of a skill gap from the older/experienced players.

USCe - Columbia, SC = let's go North Carolina team (Samyha & Kate)

What's interesting about the ADR bidding war
is that after we caused Vandy to overpay, they shortly thereafter announced that Khamil Pierre was leaving the team (rumored NIL dispute). A strange departure given it was after the portal deadline. I wonder if the Pierre situation was caused by the overpay of ADR? Then again, we may have shot ourselves in the foot seeing that Pierre ended up at NCSt.
