Every other team gets rev share. Every other school got “better” via the portal and NIL.
While VT not be “as bad” - I fear relative to everyone else - they will be.

Has VT football hired a GM yet? If not, is it JB right now?
Jeff King is Director of Player Personnel for the Bears. (Daaaa Bearssss). I’m willing to bet a p4 GM could make more than front office directors from the salary ranges I have seen.
It’s not just about getting a “named alumnus” for the gig - like Andrew luck at Stanford - but this guy has DONE the job.
Anywho. Just curious if anyone has heard on this or if AB could ask Whit/Pry next chance he gets during the slow season of summer.

ACC conference play and ncaa tourney play is all about pitching depth.
You can’t have 1 stud and 2-3 “competent” starters with 1-2 dependable bullpen arms. You wont go far.
Watch the supers and Omaha. Lots of arms used to get thru the gauntlet.

It wasn’t. The nfl draft this year was a weak class. Experts have all said
So in a diluted pool - it makes sense that VT had “nfl caliber” players. I don’t think we see 2-3 of them play regularly in their careers to be honest
To say we put 14 in the league or whatever it is - is overstatement.
