I believe they lost two starters for the season to injuries. I believe 165 and 174.

The travel does suck but the kids are used to wrestling back to back days. As Robie always says, prepare the NCAAs that way. And has nothing to do with the Stanford wrestling team but screw the ACC and collegiate athletics for putting them in that situation traveling across the country.

They miss fewer classes that way. Being a student-athlete in wrestling is hard enough without missing a bunch of classes due to roadtrips.

Actually, it’s a smart move too by Stanford to use those two straight weigh-ins as another practice run for hydration and fueling practice for the NCAA’s.
