I don't disagree with anything here but this situation is tough

At VT he'd get more individual attention than at PSU and from a training standpoint he has Henson and Andonian through 2028 that are in his weight range and VT has proven they're willing to work through adversity with talented guys, and coached multiple national champs from 149-165. At PSU you have the obvious built in advantages with NLWC but on the flip side, the moment things go sideways - or if a shinier object appears you get dropped like a bad habit (Sealey, Nagao, Davis, Facundo, Mirasola all top talents on the current roster that are trending toward being over-recruited) It's frustrating that VT obviously prioritized the kid and PSU gets back in the mix shortly after Bassett goes to Iowa. I don't have any inside information so I don't know how it all went down but that also gives the perspective to look at every aspect from a more neutral point of view. In my opinion, this is a rare situation where VT has an extremely strong argument over PSU.
