The problem isn't if Church is 'good', it's that he is not a candidate to AA. He can hold his own during the dual schedule but his upside is limited. If we are serious about trying to bring home a team trophy, we need to have AA candidates at close to every weight. There is potential at every weight in the lineup with 184/285 being longshots. I like Sergio's upside at 184 and maybe the TJ hail mary is in play but I'm not counting on it. We all love Big Jimmy and the top heavyweights have generally cleared out but he will need to make a real jump to put himself in the top 8 conversation. Going into NCAAs with only 7 realistic candidates to AA is not going to get us top 5.
