I think this has to come from the coaches and staff
I know our AD has sports psychologists available but not sure how much wrestlers utilize them.
There is just something different about the mindset required for wrestling that I think every staff member that interacts with these guys every day has to be prepared to help with. Part of being a wrestling coach is being a sports psychologist of sorts for your guys IMO. I know Ethan gets a lot of credit in this area.
Also weight cutting provides a completely different aspect to the mental side of things that you really have to have people around you understanding. This could be what makes a good coach great - could be an area where Haught lacks compared to a guy like Frayer. To your point, we can all agree Haught knows wrestling, but something's off with our upper weights and the sample size is big enough at this point.
