UVA women with third post season win. Why them and not VT?
I know VT had a BAD shooting game against Oregon and VT likely would have been beaten by Texas had they gotten by Oregon, but VT handled UVA. Go figure? Glad for ACC, I guess.

.....I'm not saying, I would have preferred a loss, just a thought exercise on possible matchups.

I think we were going to be in even if we lose to UVA, but I would not have wanted that uncomfortable feeling of being viewed with a lower RPI and having to sweat it out. If UVA was deemed a play-in team, what would we have been deemed?

help in here that is a threat to score. I think defensive intensity and mindset is in place. Go Hokie women's basketball!

In my opinion underperformed in regular season, but they just beat a 2 seed on their home court. CMD and staff get the most out of their roster, UVa staff did not in regular season. Sooner or later, usually sooner, talent wins out, everyone will remember a “Sweet Sixteen” result. UVA’s investment in roster paying off as it did in MBB and FB. Hopefully CMD has the resources to move us forward
