JMU, Florida, BYU, and maybe Vanderbilt, if we play it, represent the best resume builders from the OOC slate.

JMU, BYU, Oregon State, Vandy and Florida are respectable. The rest are pretty much scrimmage games. At least the newcomers will all get a chance to play this fall and early winter. I just hope this OOC schedule doesn't come back to bite us if we're on the infamous "bubble". Let's hope 8-10+ ACC teams are ranked in the Top 50. That's very possible.

And Vandy was pretty decent as well, the rest are like Rutgers from last year, just below average.

JMU is the only away OOC game.

in effective ways. The reason I say this is that in the Stanford game last year, she did not take a single 3-pt shot in what was a 1-pt OT loss. It was not like Stanford chased her off the 3-pt line. Most of her scoring attempts were around the basket.

Frankly I'm tired of JMU getting up to play us, while we seem to dismiss their challenge often leading to a loss.
It's time to approach playing all VA schools with the same intensity we use in ACC play.
