She may want to take a year or two off, especially after putting up with all the pressure from the UT fanbase. She will get $2.2 million (I think) from her buyout, so she could easily sit out this season and wait for a (perceived) better opportunity. When her firing was announced, my first thought was she was the one Tech would end up with. The timing lined up, as Whit would have had to wait until she was fired first so UT would have to pay the buyout. I'm much less confident of that now, as more time has passed, obviously.
