My personal opinion on the Whit Hire..........

I think we once again threw money at an out of towner, when we had a local girl with a good resume. (Caldwell) ESPN said it best...... "It's a great hire. Long-term, terrific. Her future is bright. She's one of the top young coaches in the country. Gets calls every year about jobs. … This was one that really, really appealed to her." I wish Megan nothing but the best, and I hope we can hold on to her for a few years. But I can't help but wonder what Kim Caldwell would have cooked up in her home area, while earning half the salary. The creative genius it takes to come up with methods to beat systems due to a lack of resources should not be underestimated. I've beaten this horse to death, moving on and hoping Megan makes VT Home for years to come. (Now that I have said my peace, remember this post.)
