She meant the basketball program.

Everything with Georgia is in context of basketball. She meant she went there when the basketball team wasn't very good. She's right. It wasn't. They had not won any ACC Championships and no basketball team at VT men or women had ever gone to a Final Four. Nothing really wrong with what she said. Straight facts.
