Appy has a strange tie breaker. The home team chooses to take offense or
Defense. The team then starts with a runner on first. If they score they win. If they fail to score they lose. Game ended 9-9. PULASKI chose offense. Failed to score.

Sheesh. Why not at least give them 1 point, out of 3, instead of a complete 0? Like the NHL.

Loaded once with 0 ouys only scored 1. Loaded once with 1 out only scored 1. Probably had at least 10 LOB.

It guarantees the game will end during that half inning which is probably better for players - especially pitchers. Even the international tiebreaker (putting a runner on second) can go on for a few innings.
I could also see interesting strategy in play - the home team manager gets to decide whether to go on offense or defense.
it's different, but I like it.

score becomes 1-0. In a league with real tiebreakers to determine the champion, runs scored would be one of the tiebreakers so credit for the win with no runs scored almost seems appropriate since you really didn't truly win.

to rest, then the defense gave up one long play and we lost. Damn defense.
