What are the rules WRT the pitching box?
I figure the pitchers lead foot is supposed tp stay inside the box. If the front part of the foot is on the outside of the line, but the heel is still on it, is that a legal pitch?
And what about the front line of the box? Is the lead foot supposed to inside the line? What if the pitcher naturally has a long stride that takes the foot completely outside the line?

The foot has to be completely outside the line to be illegal. Even your tallest players have a hard time getting out of the front with their stride.

Like the batters boxes and the misnamed "foul lines" - on the line is IN.

The heel of her foot was a good foot length past the front line
