Might get killed for asking this but is Charlottesville’s weather
Significantly better than Blacksburg’s? We had what 13 home games and UVA had 25. I live in Harrisonburg and I don’t believe the weather in Blacksburg is that much different than here.

UVA played alot of games in VA in February. A couple against longwood were canceled. I saw some photos and they looked fine with long sleeves :)

But there’s a lot of “hot air” up there……😁
Altitude in Cville is about 600’ above sea level, and about 2,100 in Blacksburg.
Also, it tends to be more windy in Blacksburg.
So, in general the weather tends to be better in Cville.

During my coop ed tenure, I was on campus Winter and Summer quarters. I worked at VDOT Fall and Spring quarters. As cold as winter can be, summer can be stifling.

But it rarely gets above 90 degrees here (Cburg) and the humidity is generally not that bad, but it can occasionally make it quite uncomfortable.
The Roanoke area also tends to have much warmer temps and humidity than the NRV, but it’s at a much lower elevation.

February in Blacksburg can be quite brutal.
I think it’s tougher to schedule against the weather in the NRV than the Cville area.
