Does anyone else find it strange that no coach or pitching coach ever came
out to consult with the Akron pitcher when the wheels were obviously coming off her cart? I mean not even a little visit so she could get a breather??

That he did not think of it, that she was the best chance to get the win. I think they had already came out once. If they came out again, they had to remove her

tightened up….like maybe 6-4….it seemed to me that she was simply left to do what she could.

If they went out once earlier in the 7th, they'd have to pull the pitcher on the second visit.

Frustrated, and a coach or player should have slowed her down
