We made a nice comeback on HRs since the beginning of the season.

Did anyone get the distance on Nora's on Sunday? I saw the video reply...
...but not the ball. I'm assuming she either put it in the trees or over/past them. Had to be about 250 feet.

Our analytics director, Megyn White, has all the stats on HRs. I don't
know if it would be possible for team to release those to Chip after each game. Sometimes, they show them at games. Sometimes they don't.

Just curious. Camera had the area covered. I never saw the ball.
A yellow softball would be easy to see against the grass and trees. I bet the trees were at least 20-30 feet past the fence.

You probably have to slow down the replay to see it.

I paused and scrolled. This yellow dot seems to be the ball.
As I scrolled left and right, it seems to appear in this screen print.

Yeah, you can barely see it.
It looks like it hit the net and recoiled sharply down and to the right. ** Edited by RJHokie at 5/4/2026, 7:44:43 PM

My take, too.

From the looks of things, if it wasn't a HR, it was close...
And usually ended up being a double

What, about 3-4 that hit top of the fence? Same number lower half?

Those sound pretty close to a HR to me ..
And if it wasn't a home run it was probably a double or a triple

Someone bounced one off of the very top on Sunday. Would have been 6.

Since I'm the only(?) "Popper" with bints, I've got about a dozen.
End of bat squibblers, etc., got credit. I pay good dollar for my bints. Sacrifice bints* get double indemnity. *with score OR advancing a runner to scoring position

You are St. Bint. That's not Saint Bint, that's Sint Bint.
