I was at Yosemite all day so just watched the game knowing we won…
1. Great Hokie crowd and you can still hear our Chip on the broadcast.
2. Great hits by Addy, Zoe, and Anni!
3. Other than the very hard shot missed by Anni, D was outstanding: MChat, Rachel, Gaby, and Zoe behind the plate.
4. And Mazz w 14 strikeouts. Wow!
That strike 3 call on Rachel was way outside. Absolutely LOVED that she tapped her helmet. Was that the same ump from the Syracuse game?! Chip was supposed to get him sent down to high school ball.
Lastly, I am so glad I watched this knowing the outcome. That last inning might have killed me. We love you Mazz, but take it easy on us old Hokies.

Without the timed entry this year. It’s an awesome place. Some great hikes. Love Mist Falls. Underrated is Taft Point and Sentinel Dome loop. Wish I tried half dome in my younger days.

has lots of people out. Did the Mist Trail up to Vernal Falls. It’s labeled as an “Easy Hike”, but getting to the very top kicked our butts. Was planning to get up to Nevada Falls after Vernal but had to turn back exhausted. Did bikes around the Valley on day 2 and heading to Glacier Point and then Mariposa for the Sequoias today. This place is absolutely stunning! Oh, and have seen a brown bear each day. Both very close off the hiking trail.

It is an amazing place. Glad it’s not crazy crowded. Glacier point is a great view. We have seen bears at other national parks, but didn’t at Yosemite. Enjoy. If this is your first time. You will want to go back. Since we retired 2.5 years ago we have been trying to hit National Parks. Yosemite is in the top 5.

in a run for U of V. Exact same location. Against us it was a strike and for them it saved the embarrassment of a home shutout.
This was a very winnable game for U of V. They had some key LOB times and were swinging at pitches that were not in the strike zone. It was a mistake for them to pull their starter and I thought so at the time.
ACCN shows 3 of the 4 teams moving their sticker up in the bracket. The one they don't show....., VT
