Tennessee's Karlyn Pickens is "Day-to-Day with an arm strain
Per a news release from Tennessee
D1 Softball says "The recovery time for arm strains generally range from weeks to months depending on the severity of the strain and treatment response.
"Top-ranked Tennessee (20-0) opens SEC play on Friday at home against LSU. After LSU, UT travels to play No. 13 Mississippi State and No. 9 Florida before returning home to host Ole Miss on March 27-29. The Lady Vols don’t face No. 2 Texas, No. 4 Oklahoma or No. 6 Arkansas in SEC regular-season play this season."

Don’t be surprised, however, when Tenn. is given every benefit of the doubt by pollsters for all games lost during her time away.

Ultimately, with how secretive teams have become with injury reporting, she could be truly day-to-day or listed that way for the rest of the year.

That was with the torn ACL. Obviously, Tech did not want to confirm it because doing so could’ve hypothetically impacted their seed in the tournament. But everyone (probably including the selection committee) knew that the deal was, despite VT’s “day to day” tag for her status.
