I know that 3 game stretch last month was a killer in terms of hosting, but

I really hate that these women have two losses hanging over them while the flu was running through the team. I get it, it happens, but it sucks to have those losses factoring into the equation. They're gutsy though, and look forward to what kind of a run they can put together no matter where they are playing!

I like that they are using game tracked stats for this instead of practice.

The distance gives an idea of the trajectory angle. Actually seeing them is awesome. Nora's 1 was a line drive over the lf wall, while Michelle's 2 nearly hit the elementary school behind the field at BC. Would be interested to see how far Nora's would have traveled with the same angle. Some impressive power for sure.

It looked fair to us too. Runner would have been hosed at the plate though.

Zoe didn't play it out with the plate ump yelling foul ball behind her. She was also waving off the throw before it came in.

I'm more concerned with the WP/PB.

Seems to me that our catchers try to reach for the ball too often instead of sliding over to block it. Would definitely cut down on some of the advancing on the base path.

My first wonder was about possible SLAP tear.

Ultimately, with how secretive teams have become with injury reporting, she could be truly day-to-day or listed that way for the rest of the year.

Real nice at bat from Gaby.

Even with strike one being more inside than the should have been strike 3 from Maz on her first batter.

Obviously a tough angle for the view to be sure.

I think the tag caused what you are seeing. My guess is the review was challenging obstruction on the pitcher since her right foot was in front of the plate when the slide begin. End of the day it was just a bad bounce for us on the play.

Pretty sure that's where she was tagged.

Wish she had gone more inside and drew contact with the pitcher.

I finished there just before they started building up.

Lived with some friends off of W 42nd st while I was there. Super sketchy one more street over. Was a good move for the school to expand out more.

Thanks for adding the schedule insight.

I got curious about her numbers because it seems like Cori is sharing an Emily home run highlight on Instagram almost daily the last couple of weeks.

Emily LaGette numbers

Didn't look into the competition, but she's currently sporting a .606 avg, 7hr, 27rbi line in 33 at bats for unc.
