Duke Coach Young’s daughter is transferring to Duke
She signed with Florida but only appeared in 16 games so she decided to come home and play for moma.
Hope it works out for her (except when she plays VT).

He was hoping she was coming home. Her father’s health hasn’t been great since his heart attack and then organ transplants. Not saying this was why she chose Duke, but being close to family means a lot.
Her sister is going to UCLA in the fall btw.
And one of her brothers plays for the U in football.
Very athletic family!

I was shocked that she choose Florida after high school in light of her dad’s health situation.
She still has the Extra Innings write-up pinned to her Twitter account so I posted it below.
She decided to played this summer in the Florida Gulf Coast league and apparently got her mojo back, leading the league in average, RBIs, and hits, and tied for first in home runs. She was named offensive player of the year.
