Bleachers going up in left field!
Looks like we’ve got some construction in left field!

At least replace those awful, tiny mobile home/trailer buildings. Wishes do come true!

During Whit's latest interview, he mentioned 'improvements' about TSP. The 'media area' is the last thing on his mind for 'upgrades'. He did mention a new scoreboard, and left field line bleacher seats were a 'priority'. I wonder if the new seating is permanent?

He did say that but how cool would Hokie stone look on those media huts?
I know it costs more than we would like to think but maybe you get 3 donors to foot the bill for one each and then name one of those booths after each of them?

Close in the sections between the three trailers. Then put Hokie stone on the outside.
Your view from centerfield would look like one big pressbox covered in Hokie stone. It wouldn’t matter that the seating in there is almost nonexistent.
It would look great.

Or 1,000 people to give $1,000. That would help also.... or sell the naming
rights. I like the sound of Rail Yard Dawgs Field at Grubb Stadium located in @hokiepro Park

supporting our softball program who has been successful for years. This is just our family's impression. Our own multi-families have donated a lot of $$ to the softball program over 20 years. It's sad that our stadium is outdated and looks like a high school stadium. Even our many non-VT friends have commented they are shocked our stadium is not better considering our years of success.
*Sorry, this was reply to Techdaddy about Whit's response to minimal upgrades to our stadium. Our coaches and awesome young ladies deserve much better.

I think Whit cares about the team. He cared about it enough to enact a coaching change. He cared enough to construct a great indoor facility. He just doesn't care enough to pump 10 million bucks into a stadium 'retro fit,' where we host maybe 20 games a year, some of them very poorly attended due to bad weather. I'm not Whit's agent, but compare these last 5 softball seasons with the previous 5, he's a 'diamond guy', just not a 'big money' diamond guy. After all, there are some athletic departments approaching 150-180 million dollars a year or more, in revenue. Whit counts under 100 million coming in, and with suspect ACC leadership, that 'stream' will probably continue to just trickle along weakly.
