and well deserved, I might add. After the dust clears, it will be interesting to really think about what VT softball fans got to see this weekend, both in the circle and at the plate. Emma was a bunt away from two no hitters and a perfect game. While the no nos are not as rare the perfect games are special. 8 now I think in VT history. It will take some digging to put the 5 run rule shut outs in more proper perspective. The plate discipline is something else to be pondered. The ladies showed some power but, they demonstrated good proficiency in just hitting the ball, driving the ball and running the bases. The plate accomplishments were impressive on their own, IMO, just not as obvious as what happened in the circle. Nice job ladies!
