Rochard is a pro. @hokiepro and everyone else
fretting about her: she is a winner. I think she actually pitches better with a tired arm. She's overthrowing and trying to be too perfect.

A lull.. or sharing games now with Lemly throws her off a bit. She also seems to have slowed her pace a bit. Seemed to pitch at a faster pace before. I may be totally FOS but glad she powered through and the bats came through as well!

Whew that was a rough one. It’s amazing she was well off her game but still ended up only allowing 1 run

not sure she is better with a tired arm I think you are correct that she can be her own worst enemy trying to be too perfect and overthrowing. I also thought the homeplate ump, while not terrible, was not real consistent with the strike zone.

absolutely did) and advocating for a pitching change makes anyone a NATT. Keely is a great pitcher and she did what the greats do... she grinded and figured out a way. But she struggled at times and I'm sure coach was at least considering whether a change was necessary.

thing - they were surprised by her early struggles, placement of pitches, number of balls, number of walks and number of hits. They were also surprised by the low strikeout count...but then as Keely so often does well, she dug in and it was a normal day - win, 1ER, 10 stikeouts and attitude!
