They said the UK pitcher was throwing illegal pitches if you follow the rule. they are not acting like Emma was the only one. They have mentioned multiple times that it is the rule and they are confused as to why one is being called and one not. they have said that the rule is the issue. They showed a graphic of two pitches by Lemley where one was called and one wasn't... and they both were illegal if you follow the exact rule. this is the first softball game I have watched this year (I live overseas and have to 'stream') and I had no idea what the rule was, why it was being called, or anything else... and I know now.
