How about some dinger analysis
Total dingers - 78
Left-hand dingers - 30 from 4 hitters for an average of 7.5 per hitter. Lower total but higher average.
Right-hand dingers - 48 from 8 hitters for an average of 6.0 per hitter. Higher total but lower average.
Left-handed hitters are on a pace that's 25% higher than right-handed hitters.
With the same number of hitters, left-handers would have 60 dingers - 25% more than the right-handers.
C'mon you right-handed hitters - pick up the pace !!!!
Three of the four left-handed hitters throw right-handed, only one throws and bats left-handed.
This is pretty common - right-handed throwers who bat left-handed.
All eight of the right-handed hitters throw right-handed. Very uncommon for a right-handed hitter to throw left.
None of the hitters are switch-hitters. Maybe some can but there's no stats to support it. More common in baseball than softball (non-existent in softball?) but overall not really common in baseball either.
Class dismissed. :-)
