softball park hitting with power to all fields and also Jordan Lynch who is becoming (is) a very good hitter. Bre showed great patience at the plate as most opposing pitchers are not giving her much to hit. Cori is just being Cori which is totally awesome. Castine is still rounding into form but getting better with each game. Before she got hurt last year and the year before I felt she had the best at bats on the team as she seldom went out of the strike zone and understood game situation and hit accordingly. Tonight she sprayed an opposite field double to right that was a thing of beauty. Chatfield didn't have a great game tonight, but she did have a hit taken away on the base running blunder. She is still stout at the plate. Yeager, Rohs and Blackwell are still swinging at too many pitches off the plate and each of them would have had at least one more base-on-balls if they would have just kept the bat on their shoulders. I do realize that they are young hitters still learning and the Yeager bombs have helped win some games.
