First and foremost for the ladies sake I hope that it doesn’t end this way…..BUT I have to tell you that I coached an elite travel softball team for eight years and didn’t always make the right decisions BUT this is the most inept coaching that I have ever witnessed! There is no, zero, nada reason to make these type of coaching/pitching decisions in an elimination game. Not sure who might have ticked off the coach after the Kentucky loss but he’s certainly showing them isn’t he? An absolute injustice to the players! Sorry but a 40 year Hokie Alum and the first time I’ve criticized a coach before, during or after a contest! Absolute great season by the ladies! Fight thru these poor coaching decisions ladies! Rant over!
