Don't Lose Faith
Yes, transfers and NIL (which is encouraging tranfers) has created a mess, but there's still so much to love about our team. I would love to see the day when the ladies could make a decent living off the game without the loss of dedication and commitment. So far, our softball ladies haven't become mercenaries. With rare exception, if a player has left it hasn't been driven by money.
I generally have very little faith in our government's ability to fix any problems, but there is pending bipartisan legislation aimed at addressing the problem. Whether it will pass or not, and if so, whether it will be sufficient to restore a value system that I can stand behind is still anybody's guess.
