NIL has become a competition. "I can spend more than you" "Our program spends more than your program"
"We're paying our best player more than you're paying yours"
It's a madhouse and the ultimate players are all mad-hatters. Maybe there should be a separate ranking of spending to go along with the rankings of the winning teams.
