One pitcher - Lemley. Sophie walked one and got an out.

They had 4 runs and 2 outs. All we needed was one out. It's not Lemley's fault. She threw a lot of pitches in the strike zone and they kept fouling them off. But, a quicker recognition of Lemley's limitations there could have saved the game. So, I blame the coaches for this one. It's just a scenario they may not have prepared for because it's highly unusual. Did they know who would be the most effective if the balls were a little wet? We had the same advantage in the top of the 6th. They threw strikes and we scored 4. It was also raining about the same in the top of the 7th. Didn't impact their pitcher. All we got was a walk in our bat in the 7th.
