me, and I do see validity in your point. I think you misunderstood mine. I wasn't saying bunt the runner(s) over every single time, I was just pointing out the several opportunities that we had in the game to do such, and we did it zero times. This has been going on all years and our inability to adapt is frustrating to me. It is clearly our coaching philosophy. We have been and are now struggling to score runs with hits. How about we just try once to score a run without a hit when presented the opportunity. That was my point. I am all for the home run and do enjoy the spectacle, and we do have some capable hitters, but sometimes, in certain situations, it's just not the right strategy. I understand and respect your point as well and would not want my best power hitters bunting to advance runners in every at bat or more than necessary. Having said that, you are not my enemy, and this is not an adversarial relationship, in fact we are on the same team, the Hokie team. Can't we agree to disagree without resorting to personal attacks. I've read and enjoyed your posts on these boards for years and was very surprised by your response to my opinion on this topic. It seems that people on these boards can't respond to a post they disagree with without a dig, cut or name call. Maybe that's just the way it is nowadays but it makes it difficult to enjoy the discussions, which is the reason why we come here in the first place. It makes it to where you don't even want to post at all for fear of being attacked, which then turns into what we just did, which was unnecessary because both of our points have validity. Peace out.
