like I said below low or no run production in a large number(9 of 10) of those losses and the 4-3 Arizona loss was a damn fine effort. In those days if a person got to the field early enough there was space behind the backstop and under the bleachers where you could get a ground eye view of exactly how special she was. Her velocity was not bad but, her spin and movement and the ability to hit her spots was dominant. Up/down/inside/out she could work the entire window and it was always entertaining to watch the batter walking back to the dugout shaking their head. Particularly entertaining were the victims of K's approaching the plate for later appearances knowing what was coming and then taking that same walk back to the dugout again.
