Yes, it can be.
But it rarely gets above 90 degrees here (Cburg) and the humidity is generally not that bad, but it can occasionally make it quite uncomfortable.
The Roanoke area also tends to have much warmer temps and humidity than the NRV, but it’s at a much lower elevation.
