The charters I've flown on from/to BCB were all in prop planes like the one they took to Baton Rouge. For those flights, we were warned to plan for the possibility of having to fly out of ROA instead of BCB, but my understanding is that fallback was only in the event of bad weather. I guess that even if they could safely land the jet at BCB, they'd still have to safely fly it back out to its next destination.
