top 8? So, not sure what you are saying. Bama is currently in 2nd place in the toughest conference in softball and have a 45-6 record overall. There are two SEC teams, two Big 10 teams and a Big 12 team in the 5 spots behind them in the RPI. They can certainly lose their way out of the top 8.
